NEW YORK, NY, UNITED STATES, January 7, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- The National Religious Broadcasters (NRB) is the world's largest association of Christian communicators. NRB President & CEO Troy A. Miller will be in New York City on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, and is available for interviews to discuss the America 250th Birthday Celebration at the 2026 National Religious Broadcasters Convention. Addition headline topics for interview are the rise of Christian persecution, antisemitism at home and abroad, and NRB's new initiative aimed at equipping the church to serve veterans.

Featured Talking Points:
NRB CONVENTION 2026
We invite all Christian communicators to join us in Nashville in February for the NRB International Christian Media Convention, the global relationship-building hub for Christian media professionals. With more than 6,000 attendees from all over the world expected to attend, the world of Christian communications will come to life at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center, February 17-20, 2026. The 2025 NRB Convention welcomed nearly 6,000 Christian media professionals, including 345 international attendees from 52 countries outside the United States. This convention will be a landmark gathering for NRB as we strengthen our historic bonds, cast a vision for the future, and prepare to meet the challenges and opportunities of our day.

THE FIGHT FOR AM RADIO
The fight for AM radio to be in every vehicle in America is a fight to preserve free speech and the free flow of information. The AM Radio for Every Vehicle Act now has overwhelming support—317 co-sponsors in the House and 60 in the Senate—giving it a clear majority and strong momentum toward a floor vote. With floor activity resuming, pressure is mounting for House leadership to schedule a full floor vote—a key step toward final passage. NRB and our coalition partners have been assured the bill remains on the House agenda, with growing bipartisan support in both chambers. In the Senate, the companion measure has secured 60 co-sponsors, a level that could overcome a filibuster if those senators vote in favor. The measure is led in the House by: Reps. Gus Bilirakis and Frank Pallone and in the Senate by: Sens. Ted Cruz and Ed Markey. NRB helped shape the committee language and applauded the bill’s recent advancement.

STANDING WITH THE PERSECUTED CHURCH
Today, over 380 million Christians worldwide face high levels of persecution as violence escalates globally. NRB joined leading Christian organizations in urging the President to re-designate Nigeria as a “Country of Particular Concern,” a call the Trump administration has answered.

DEFENDING A JEWISH HOMELAND & CONFRONTING ANTISEMITISM
From Washington to Jerusalem, NRB has stood in unwavering solidarity with Jewish people and their right to their biblical homeland. After his recent trip to Israel, Miller can speak with clarity against antisemitism and the biblical mandate of Christian leaders to advocate for Israel's right to exist as a state.

EQUIPPING CHURCHES TO SERVE VETERANS
Between 9/11 and today, veteran suicides have surged, revealing deep emotional and spiritual wounds. NRB’s new Veterans Ministry Initiative will launch next week with the mission to equip churches nationwide to meet veterans where they are — with faith, community, and hope.
