Russia Claims Shooting Down 164 Ukrainian Drones Overnight
The ministry said that 39 drones were destroyed over the Black Sea, while another 32 were shot down over the Krasnodar region in southern Russia.
Local authorities reported that the drone attacks damaged port infrastructure and an apartment building in the Black Sea port of Tuapse in Krasnodar.
Two foreign civilian vessels also caught fire during the assaults, though the regional operational headquarters confirmed there were no injuries.
In response, Ukraine's Air Force reported that Russia launched 79 drones and two Iskander-M ballistic missiles overnight, with Ukrainian air defenses successfully downing 67 drones.
