Israeli Strikes Target Fordo Nuclear Facility
“Moments ago the aggressor enemy attacked the Fordo nuclear site again,” said a spokesperson of Qom Province Crisis Management Headquarters.
A semi-official news agency verified the strike on the facility, yet offered no specifics about the extent of destruction.
This latest assault occurred just one day after U.S. forces bombarded three atomic complexes in Fordo, Natanz, and Isfahan.
Since 13 June, Israel and Iran have been locked in airborne clashes—ignited when Tel Aviv launched an unexpected offensive against multiple locations across Iran, including military and nuclear installations—prompting Tehran to retaliate.
Israeli officials report that at least 25 individuals have been killed and hundreds wounded by Iranian rocket barrages, while Iran’s Health Ministry says the Israeli onslaught has left a minimum of 430 dead and over 3,500 hurt.
